Grace 2 - Tragically Hip Concert

September 30th is National Truth and Reconciliation Day and Grace, 2 is proud to be supporting The Downie Wenjack Foundation at the Gayety
Theatre.

Like millions of Hip fans across Canada, Grace, 2 remembers the music of the Tragically Hip as the soundtrack to their lives. Every show
they play is an opportunity to connect with other Hip fans, bring back great memories and honour Gord Downie’s legacy.

So come join us! Come sing along at the top of your lungs to all your favourite Hip songs and help us raise money and awareness for a great cause.

This concert takes place on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and proceeds from the show will support The Downie Wenjack Fund.  

Inspired by Chanie’s story and Gord’s call to build a better Canada, the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund aims to build cultural understanding and create a path toward reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.  

Downie's work led to him being appointed a member of the Order of Canada in June 2017; he was hailed by Governor General David Johnston for his devotion to “promoting dialogue about residential schools and working towards reconciliation.”
