Described as flamboyant, flirty, and humor-infused, Joanne’s performances are known to be a little quirky, spontaneous, and fun! Think of Annie Lennox meets Carol Burnett.

 

A typical Joanne Powell show is a display of her interpretations of R&B soul classics, jazz standards, and rock / pop confections with a unique gospel feel.

 

A seasoned entertainer, Joanne has toured across Canada and Internationally, and instantly engages her audiences.

Joanne will be accompanied by the talented Peter Hill on piano and Russ Boswell on Bass. The show will focus on 30’s / 40’s jazz standards and Joanne’s original material with a
heartful gospel twist. 

 

Currently, Joanne is working on an EP with an early 2022 release date, and rehearsing with a Bob Seger tribute band for a US tour in 2022.
