Whether it’s “Birthday” tricked out like ZZ Top, “When I’m 64” as a New Orleans piano rhumba, or “Come Together” as a footstompin’ mandolin-driven jam, the twists and turns keep coming with every song another surprise!

In addition to their own takes on the Fab Four songbook, Beatles in Blue pays tribute to blues and soul artists with Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Taxman”, Otis Redding’s “Day Tripper”, Stevie Wonder’s “We Can Work It Out” and others.

Leading Beatles in Blue is acclaimed and award winning frontman Doug Varty. A Canadian Music Hall of Famer who’s shared the stage with John Lee Hooker, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Jeff Healey, Tina Turner and more. He’s been awarded Jack Richardson and London Music Awards for his stirring vocals, guitar/piano/harmonica/mandolin skills, his performing and songwriting.

Bassist Paul Loeffelholz and Drummer Corey Thompson are both seasoned studio professionals who’ve toured and recorded with blues original Bill Durst, After The Lounge, and a host of Canadian rock artists.
