Event Description
Animalia / Ruth Madoc-Jones: To Cast a Stone

Directed by Ruth Madoc-Jones; Created and written by Jill Krasnicki and Ruth Madoc-Jones; Performed by Animalia (Jill Krasnicki)

Take a step back from reality, leave your bad intentions at the door and walk into a world of music, magic and modern day witchcraft.

In this unique, one-night only performance, dark electro musician Animalia teams up with stage director Ruth Madoc-Jones to create a sacred and otherworldly space to weave her songs through a spell casting ritual.

Don a mask and enter the world of Animalia, where North, East, South, and West each represent a different state of mind, where song and movement combine to manifest the earthly elements. Pick up a stone, channel your doubts and fears into it, and cast it away.

To Cast a Stone aims to bridge the gap between spectator and participant, anonymity and community. This safe and beautiful space has been created to allow people to immerse themselves in another world – a world full of lights, smoke, shadows and hope. A world full of magic.
